Thanks guys. I got a copy of this just after my other comment about the scalability of the other one. I LOVE this solution. It works perfectly for me.

Does this plugin works with RTL languages like Arabic?.
It is highly needed for a website in Arabic and am asking before I purchase it…

Is it possible to just display results STARTING with the letters the user types, as opposed to simply CONTAINING those letters elsewhere in the place’s title.

    Example:

Have two restaurants, My Taco Shop, Amy’s Taco Shop. If the user types in “MY” both show up. I’d like it to only show “My Taco Shop” in the autocompleter.

    How can I do this?

    Hi,

Is it possible to highlight the letters typed into the search bar ?

Also can we limit the numbers of results displayed to, say for example, 4 on the list?

A little bit of feed back – I have just short of 800 listings to date on my site which will grow to approx 3kish. The only slight issue I have with this is there can be a little to much lag when entering the detail into search and getting the matches. Other than than that this is an excellent addition, the user gets instant (bar the lag) details of if the listing is present and the way it drills down to what you are looking for is brilliant.

    Highly recommended

Is there a way to filter the search results. I’d only like to show tags not post title. Also wondering if its possible to autocomplete city name. http://www.idsavings.com. Thanks!

This is not working correctly in a mobile environment. I use Galaxy S2 and as I type in my word it erases the letters I started typing rendering the search feature useless. What would be the turn around time for a fix be expected?

I am not really expecting a response because there are a few unanswered comments in this thread. But I thought I would leave this comment here in case the issue I spotted was important for people considering this solution.

Disappointed that there seems to be no support for this… after 5 months I decided to check back, thinking surely there’d be something…

After enable this plugin, there is a tiny link at the very bottom of my site which says ‘web development’. It links to the address: http://nik.chankov.net/

Once I disable this plugin the link disappears.

I totally wasn’t expecting this from a paid plugin.

This plugin has potential. I would like it to search on just the category and tag. Can we just adjust which part of the database it is querying???

I have just purchased this plugin and I have to say it does have potential.

I think that the $5 fee is too cheap and that the cost should be raised to aid its development.

It does throw up a few anomalies.

It shows “Drug Dealers 1″ http://www.leedscan.co.uk/?t=1&s=Drug+Dealers&sn=&Sgeo_lat=&Sgeo_lon=

But throws up four results??? With only one having mention of drugs dealers??
